Every bedroom is equipped with a private en-suite wetroom.
From a quality of living and dignity perspective, the importance of private washing facilities is clear and as we continue to live with COVID, these facilities are critically important for infection control reasons. Older care homes that do not provide this have struggled to meet Care Quality Commission standards for infection control because carers are unable to wash their hands before leaving a resident’s room and moving to the next.
A wide range of communal spaces and facilities will be provided within the home to ensure residents’ every need are met on-site.
Outdoor amenity space is provided through well landscaped and secure gardens. These spaces are important for the health and well-being of residents within safe, contained spaces where movements of residents can be managed for their safety.
